Two to Tango

It doesn't
grow in a vacuum,
spontaneously generate,
spontaneously incinerate.

It isn't included free -
"but wait!  You get two
for the price of one!"

It isn't the cheezy prize 
in a box of Cracker Jack.

It's borne of time,
to the time of insults.

A taunting two-step,
a slap-in-the-face tango.

And when this 
world-class waltz
is premiered,
to the captive audience of millions,
both members
of this international team of composers
need to take their bows.
